Cutout.Pro's free video background removal preview is five seconds at 360p. Treat it as a sample, not a promise of a free full-length download. Its video tool page describes the preview; paid video allowances have a separate pricing page.
Before paying, check both the cost of the allowance you must buy and the file you will receive. The public export descriptions conflict, which matters if your next application needs a transparent overlay.
We make BackgroundRemover.Video. We checked Cutout.Pro's public pages on September 16, 2026. We have not purchased a Cutout.Pro export, so the guidance below does not compare the two services' cutout quality or processing speed.
What can the free preview tell you?
A short preview can show whether the tool identifies your intended subject. It can also reveal an obvious problem, such as part of a product disappearing into the background. It cannot establish that every frame of a longer clip is usable, or that the full-resolution download has the format you need.
Choose a test section with movement. For a presenter, include a head turn and a hand gesture. For a product, include a moment when an edge crosses a similar background color. Review those moments over the background intended for the finished piece. A cutout that looks acceptable at a small preview size still needs inspection at delivery size.
Keep the source. If the result fails, you will want to compare the same frames rather than trying to remember how the original edge looked.
How much does Cutout.Pro video background removal cost?
The following are the displayed purchase prices for the first three packages on Cutout.Pro's video pricing page, checked on September 16, 2026. They are video allowances, not the image-credit packages.

These are the page's dollar amounts. Confirm the currency, tax and final charge at checkout. A lower rate on a larger package helps only if you use enough of that allowance.
For example, dividing the $9 package by 60 seconds gives $0.15 per second. Ten seconds would account for $1.50 of that allowance under a simple proportional calculation. That does not make $1.50 a standalone purchase option. With no available balance or applicable free allowance, the listed package purchase is $9.
We have not verified Cutout.Pro's exact per-job rounding or video-credit expiry. Use the quote for your uploaded job before treating the proportional example as its actual charge. Also check what happens to unused allowance if you only have one short clip to process.
Upload limits and processing checks
The upload page lists MP4, WebM, MOV and GIF inputs. The video pricing page states a maximum of 2 GB, 4K and 30 fps. Check all three properties of your source, especially footage recorded at a higher frame rate.
Cutout.Pro says to wait for rendering to reach 100% before downloading. Its processing FAQ also says a queue can leave progress at 1% or 10%, and warns against repeatedly uploading and paying for the same video.
If progress appears stuck, record the job identifier, time and status before trying again. Check whether the original job is still listed in your account. Repeated submissions make it harder to tell which result belongs to which charge. Keep any error message if you need to contact support.
Can you download a transparent MOV or WebM?
The answer needs confirmation in the current account workflow. On the same Cutout.Pro tool page, one FAQ describes transparent MOV and MP4 with a replacement background. Another describes MP4 downloads and restricts WebM/GIF to business clients. Those statements do not establish one reliable export promise.
If transparency is required, request or download a small sample in the exact format available to your account. Record the container and codec, then test that file in the application that will receive it. A MOV extension alone does not prove an alpha channel is present.

A clip of exactly 60 seconds exceeds our per-clip limit. That restriction matters more than a lower entry price if you need to submit one uninterrupted video.
